Just received a letter from the danish cable provider TDC. It states that due to low shares and rating and all that the won’t provide BBC Food any longer…It’s horrible. I watch BBC Food every Saturday morning…It’s wonderful TV…It’s relaxing…No murder and guns…no car-chases…just chicken and beef…sometimes they drop an egg, but that’s about the most exciting that ever happens…Who wouldn’t love it…I’m starting a petition, so please state your first name and support for BBC Food to remain on TV in Denmark.

Swing by analogik.dk . We have no financial interest in this band. We just think they make the most wonderful music. And then they have a very nice game on their site…only took me about 2 hours to figure out…but do…’cause there’s a prize…
If you’re in CPH around the 15th of december, you can catch them at RUST

We’re currently working on a blog and a site for a danish production-company. But more on that tomorrow…

Winter is waiting ’round the corner. So basically we have to accept that this isn’t possible for many months…
Instead we have to start getting used to this…

But don’t worrie. We made a list of all the cool stuff you can do when you’re stuck inside.
1. Look out the window
2. Sit around
3. Look a several unpaid bills
4. Get a cold
5. Spill coffea on your shirt
See…it’s not so bad…
Speaking of grey. Isn’t it funny how you often feel like that before the sixties, everything was black and white. Whenever you watch something in the telly, and it’s before color-tv, it’s in black and white. I can be very rational about this, but none the less, I still have this picture of everything being black and white…and it’s not just because the picture is black and white…It’s all the clothes…they look like they are black and white. Take the following picture…It looks like the clothes is black and white…

But the guy on the right is actually wearing a very snappy dark purple suit. But because of the mediated reality, TV is, all you see is a black suit.
( Note to self - think things through before posting…)

Today, all of a sudden, Christo came by the busto office. We were not expecting him, so it was quite the surprise.
And we were like…” wow…hey…Christo…”
and he was like …”yeah…it’s me all right”
and we were like …” yeah…cool…what are you doing here…”
and he was like…” yeah…donno ”
and we were like …” oohh…ok…so…you want a soda ?”
and he was like…” yeah…no… ”
and we were like …” coffee…”
and he was like…” yeah…donno ”
and we were like …” coffee…you want coffee…”
and he was like…” yeah.. ”
1 minute later
and we were like …” here’s your coffee”
and he was like…” yeah…don’t want it… ”
and we were like …” yeah…ok…”
and he was like…” yeah…sweeeeet ”
and we were like …” you’re stoned…aren’t you…”
and he was like…”NO ”
and we were like …” yeah…you are…”
and he was like…” yeah…probably ”
and we were like …” where’s your adorable wife…”
this is the wife…

and he was like…” donno…do you have any popcorn ”
and we were like …” yeah…no…not really”
and he was like…” yeah…cool ”
and we were like …” yeah…”
and he was like…” yeah…”
And then he made this installation…

and told Jesper to go sit inside the wall for four months…(he´s not gonna do it though…)

Last night we came up with a lot of great ideas. The result is this…

This 3 dimensional shape is the crystallization of our ideas. It is a shape that contains both failure and succes. Maybe the green note 3 from above is a businessmodel possible of making millions of dollars. And maybe not…During the night we made an exact model of the chaos of our minds. Getting things down on paper is important, but in this case it’s almost to much paper. No way in hell are we gonna make sense of this. You may notice the green one, with the text “Film” with a large “S” below. We have no idea what this is. Make a movie ? Watch a movie ? A reference to a specific movie…? If you have a tool for maintaining a supportive structure for the creative process, please drop us a line…´cause this is obviously not the way to go…
When we got bored of writing post-it’s, we made some stickers for the company-car…

This is Jesper doing the final desktop clean-up, before attending a party…and yes…he’s as focused as Michelangelo painting a ceiling…

And this is Jesper the morning after, about 4 hours after he went to sleep…and yes…he just woke up after a bit of a nap..

Maybe not noticeable at first, but on the inside there’s a huge difference.

Busto just returned from a showcase of Katrine Bunton’s latest work, and a celebration of her finishing the royal danish theater as a…the one that makes the stuff used in plays. She made this lion, and it’s made entirely of paper and wood and stuff…But real intestines were used…just to give it that special lion-like smell…
So if you ever need a lion or another animal og like a …a penguin…call her…she’s as good as it gets….

The weekend is once again coming to and end. Time’s floating down the river like a loaf of bread…
A quick trip down memory lane looks something like this.
Friday we listened to some rock’n'roll at Christiania

And saturday we drove up the coast, where we saw a couple having a hollywood-like picknick. For some reason they chose a spot, in a rather large park, right next to the highway…Guess the event was more for the benefit of spectators, than for the sake af romance…

We kept on driving until we hit the art museum Louisiana, showing the work of danish architect Poul Kjærholm…This is art afficianado Michael von Battenberg, trying to find a signature on the piece shown…

The Kjærholm axcibition was very cool, but they also had a video installation theme going on at the other wing of the museum. And this wasn’t that good, so instead we had a lot of fun asking all the custodians, in a very serious tone of voice… “Do you know when Top Gun is showing ?”…They did not find this as funny as we did…
And then we drove back to the city to have a cup of coffea. While walking about town, we stumbled upon this poster in the window of a recruitment office…We decided that this very candidate might not be the best to show in the window, as the company who decides to hire him will have to expand the dooropenings quite a lot, this way enabling him to walk around the office. (That’s quite a large head…Isn’t it ?)

And then we drove further to take a look at the army base, where Mads spend a year as a soldier. The base is now closed for business, but the whole episode had a rather emotional impact on Mads, who suddendly proclaimed that being a soldier actually wasn’t that funny at all.. And from his personal experience, we would be seriously fucked, if Denmark ever decided to reclaim part of Sweden…During one excersize they weren’t allowes to use blanks, but instead they were told to aim, and say “bang” out loud. And from the looks of it, a lot of the guys in his division would probably use the same approch if ever engaged in real live action…
Then we drove to take a look at the largest brick construction in Denmark. The church of Grundtvig …It is very large indeed…Not as big as the cethedral in Venice, but bigger than the artist Prince…
And that’s it…
Google shows a returning visitor from Mountain View…so…how’s the weather like over there ?
