Kirkegaard wrote this on his phone bill before returning it to KTAS in the last century. The young people picked it up and wrote the same on a cemetary wall…This is what I saw on my way to work…Yes…Work…I’m a fucking yuppi…Capitalism..showers…cappuchinos…all that shit…

Notice the older couple walking towards me. American couple, just arrived yesterday from florida. Stopped me to ask directions to the opera…

Turists: ” Excuse me sir. Could you give us directions to the opera ?”

Me : “Sure. Just straight ahead. Take a left right after the bridge. Looks like a giant toaster tipped over. You can’t miss it”
Tourists: “Thank you very much”

Me : “No problem. Have a nice day…”
Tourists: ” Could you tell us…We just arrived yesterday…haven’t been able to get any information on the riots. Why are the young people fighting…
Me : “They don’t like cappuchinos and they recent what we call “friværdi”…And then they were evicted from a house in which they arrranged concerts and stuff…some scary lady on a mission from God couldn’t stand all the fun, so she bought the house, and told them to leave…
Tourists: “oohhh…that sounds problematic…”

Me : “Yeah…I guess…”
Tourists: “But is it over now…Or is it something that happens often…”
Me : “Yeah…No…happens all the time…That’s why Denmark is anarchy spelled backwards…”
Tourists: ” It’s not..”
Me: ” Yeah…I know…but no…doesn’t happen all the time…but the weekend might be a bit rough around the edges…”

Tourists: “Oohhh…that’s a shame…We’re only here for three days…”
Me : “Yeah…I bet that cruise in the Caribbean doesn’t sound so bad right now…”
Lady tourist: ” We might as well have enroll and gone to Irak…saved us a fortune…”

Me: ” hah…yeah…well…welcome to denmark…be sure to stop by the little mermaid…It’s adorable..”
